Protection. Order. Violence.
These are the fondest memories of Little Mickey Fletcher. His childhood was more ordained and designed than most people's childhoods. Raised to follow in the footsteps of the entire rest of his family, law and order took precedence over everything else when it came to living his life. So much so that even as a child, Little Mickey Fletcher took it upon himself to dispense justice to the bullies and rule breakers of his fine education establishments.
He mad being a Hall Monitor into a Full Time Job.
Once he became of age, he had already been trained and predetermined for entry into local English law enforcement. He bounced around the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) for years. He worked almost every detail imaginable, mostly because he kept butting heads with his partners or superior officers. Little Mickey Fletcher, whom had started to be known simply as Mick, ruffled a lot of feathers in each department due to his particularly violent style of police work. His arrests would come back with broken limbs, viciously bruised or unconscious. Same with some witnesses and suspects that were being interrogated by him. Eventually, Mick's brutal police work became too much for the MPS to explain away and he was reassigned one more time.
It might be looked at as a promotion by those on the outside but Mick's inclusion into the Royalty Protection Group was nothing more than a way to tame the borderline bestial tendencies of "getting the job done" of Mick. Instead of giving him a desk job thy decided to do him one worse.
They made him a babysitter.
Reassigned to the personal and transport detail of the Duke of Cumberland, Mick spent the next year or so keeping the tabloid beloved brat out of trouble… for the most part. As someone with a very specific sense of humor, Mick and Dante never truly hit it off but as a professional Mick did his job and did it well. Perhaps a bit too well. Since it became clear that Dante looked upon their relationship in a much different light than Mick saw it.
The time for change had come again when the Metropolitan Police Services came under attack by someone working from the inside. Unable to trust anyone within the department, the internal investigations unit repurposed Mick from his babysitting job and sent him in to clean house. And that's exactly what he did. It was a long and vicious process but Mick was exactly the kind of guy needed to clear out the bad seeds so that a new crop of officers could grow and thrive.
After restoring law and order to the MPS, Mick was offered an actual promotion to go along with his commendations. More money and more responsibility to take up a position as a Senior Staffer at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Great Britain located in Bay City. Of course, Mick took the job and was very interested in taking his talents down to Bay City.
Upon his arrival, Mick was presented with a new office and a new salary and a new vehicle. All of which became some of the greatest additions to his new lifestyle. A new lifestyle that would prove to be very short lived as a series of events brought his attention to something a bit more personal to him. Something that he didn't even know was personal to him until it came across his desk.
And now? It seems like Mick may be giving up his cushy new job for something a little more… Royal.
Champagne Problem - Mick is what you might call a champagne problem. For an individual that works on the right side of the law, Mick has no qualms about going above and beyond those laws to complete his assignments. His blue collar work ethic often clashes with the high society circles that he runs in.
Embassy Official - Mick is an officer and official within the Embassy of the Kingdom of Great Britain. While this doesn't give him a full pardon for things or Diplomatic Immunity, it does give him a certain amount of clout and a level of political access and protection that most won't have.
Fast & Furious - Mick drives angry and dies hard. It's a lifestyle that doesn't seem to fit with his occupation but he makes it work. He can often be found enjoying or performing adrenaline rush style antics and entertainment.
Royal's Pain - Mick is Royal's bodyguard and babysitter. Your condolences are appreciated. Even still, Mick and Royal come as a set. Sure, they can be dealt with separately but together is when they really shine. Or shatter. It depends on how bad of a situation Royal has put them in.
Supercop - Mick is a law enforcement officer. Due to his status of working closely with the Royal family, Mick's is blessed with an extended jurisdiction to work with (and above) local law enforcement. On top of that, his reputation of being a bit of a 'supercop' back in Great Britain offers him some clout and wiggle room when dealing with things in Bay City.
The Royals - Mick is not a member of the Royal Family of the Kingdom of Great Britain but he might as well be. He's worked for them in the past and is working for them again while also keeping extensive records and knowledge about the entire family. It's his job.
